Tiramisu

Tiramisu is one of our favorite dessert. It is the most heavenly italian dessert. It is made of savoiardi (known as lady finger biscuits) dipped in strong coffee or rum, layered with a wihpped mixture of egg yolks, mascarpone, sugar and topped with chocolate powder.

Ms. Karti was a caring ex-teacher to Viola in Peter & Jane. Since she left, Viola has never forgotten about her as she will call on and off just to hear her voice.

Ms. Karti invited us all to her wedding in Ipoh on May 29 but unfortunately I have to work on that day. Viola were very dissappointed. I have made Ms Karti a small 2 tiers wedding cake. I hope she & her husband will like it. Why did I choose Cats? Inspired from Debbie Brown's work. Thought they are kinda cute & pretty... something different I guess. :)

12th May 2005... Viola asked for Alice In Wonderland birthday cake. I made it simple... together with Cupcakes & Cookies as her party packs. Kids went ga..ga ..over the gifts and the cake. Obviously they ate all the figurines without second thought!!
