CLASS - MINIATURE CAKES

Project Completed by Fellow Students!

They are fast learner indeed. They have never covered a cake with fondant but today with 3 tries, they have successfully designed them with flower,teddy & a ribbon bow. They are very happy with their achievements and shall come back with more. This time, they are more serious.. They want to do a Louis Vuitton's handbag,barbie cake & etcs! I like their enthusiasm.

I am going for a week's break (finally)... and shall put up new schedules for classes. Meantime, stay tuned!

Fondant Cookies Decoration By All of Us.

Students learned to make , bake cookies & decorated it with Fondant. Added some Royal Icing for dots & various designs. 8 cookies each was quite alot to do but we had spendid fun decorating it. They all liked the cookies very much as they were crunchy & tasty.

Yoshi & Mario

Yoshi is presumed to be a dinosaur, though his species is named Yoshi. There are many yoshis in the world, varying in color, but the original yoshi is green. Yoshi serves as Mario's mount in several games such as Super Mario World, and is depicted as a more sentient creature in games likeSuper Mario Kart and Yoshi's Island.

Aren't they a quick learner? I say "YES". If you want to learn to make this, ask for a special class!

HAPPY BELATED FATHER'S DAY

This morning 28th June 2009, RESIDENCY Seksyen 9 decided to treat all the fathers with a belated father's day party at the playground. Children were running, climbing & drawing. Fathers were catching-up the lost time & the wives were chit-chatting as usual. 

The place where I lived is really a pleasant heaven.

70th Birthday

I wasn't too sure what design to make for Dot's mother 70th Birthday. I only know Dot wants a heart shape cake for her mother. Only later I knew her age is 70, then I thought adding gold dust would be good.

I am not too sure if they will like it but I tried to imagine as simple and yet elegant.

A toast to you Auntie...Happy 70th. Birthday!

FIGURINE MODELLING - MERMAID

I love making figurine. Knowing that it  requires great patient and little fingers (which I don't really have on both), I am so addictive to it! My daughters have many sticker books with princesses, I like looking at it  and try doing it myself with sugarpaste.
